Screening for chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL)
What screening means.
Screening for cancer means testing people for the disease at the early stages, before
they show any signs of having it. And an early diagnosis makes cancer easier to
treat and improves chances of survival.
However, at this time, no screening tests are recommended to detect CLL. CLL is
sometimes found when a blood test is done for another reason.
